ILLUSIONISM
Johnny Phoenix is an artist, based in London, who is upcoming in the music industry with the new signature to the label, Sony Music. He has the stage name of ‘Illusionism’. He has always had an interest in Music, even starting to learn the guitar at the age of 6, which he has been fixated to ever since the first encounter. One feature that differentiates Johnny from other artists is the fact that he has a slight american twinge on his music; this derives from the fact that his father was American and was a former singer, therefore, Johnny has learnt solely from him throughout his upbringing and being born into a musical family. Johnny at the age of 18 that he is now, has always been a large advocate for singing live, in which, part of the reason he is here now, is due to him going around London, playing at any small shows he could to get the experience and ultimately, the thrill, that he is now ready to take to the next level with Sony.

Johnny at the age of 18 that he is now, has always been a large advocate for singing live, in which, part of the reason he is here now, is due to him going around London, playing at any small shows he could to get the experience and ultimately, the thrill, that he is now ready to take to the next level with Sony.
He had a multitude of musical influences when he was trying to rise to the scene, one of which being predominantly, his father, however, on a larger scale, took ideology and inspiration from a lot of rock artists of the past eras; this includes the likes of Aerosmith, AC/DC, The Rolling Stones, Guns n’ Roses and more.
His spare time is filled with musical influences, with him, again, attempting to take part in as many gigs as possible, mainly performing but also bystanding too. Also, he takes a lot of time to perfect his trade and continue picking up his singing and guitar playing skills, as well as, new instruments to broaden his abilities. Outside of music, he takes interest in football, gaming, watching films and series’ and being a social butterfly.
Fashion influences have come from the rock artists that he has taken after, therefore, has a ‘punky’ style crossed with a ‘free flowing’ style, which will be evident in his new single coming out soon ‘Dream On’.
All of this has not been decluttered with his signing to the label and we can be sure he will remain being as authentic as he sounds in this small biography.
